The Robert Napier School

Best Ever Results

The School is celebrating its best ever results with the average result being a C grade despite the introduction of the more difficult A Levels specifications this year.  Overall the school’s performance has improved by a 1/3 of a grade.   A*-B  grades are up 6% to 32% and A*C grades are up 5% to 59%

Star performers include Elizabeth Camp who achieved AAA and Matthew Burrow who achieved A*BC.  Elizabeth is going to the University of Derby to study Criminal Psychology and Matthew is off to the University of Swansea to do American Studies which will include a year in the USA.  Many other students achieved fantastic results but special mention must go to Sunil Kuwar who achieved a Distinction*, B and C grades.  Only a few years ago Sunil suddenly lost a significant amount of eyesight in just a few weeks and to achieve these grades while learning to cope with a visual impairment is a significant accomplishment.

The School wishes all of the Year 13 students the best of luck in their next step at university, apprenticeships or in employment.
