Big Lottery Fund Grant

The Funding from the Big Lottery will provide a yearlong pilot programme delivered by support workers from the charity MIND of mental health support for our students and their families. This will take place for one day each week in school and will include:

  • Managing Me Programme - aimed at addressing anxiety and depression.
  • Taming My Temper Programme - dealing with anger management specifically designed for young people who may have issues controlling their emotions.
  • Individual Recovery Plans – one to one support for up to 15 students who have difficulties with managing their well-being and emotional health.
  • Family support drop in sessions; supporting parents and carers in helping their sons/daughters manage their difficulties associated with well-being and emotional health.
