RNS Students Exhibit Sustainable Energy in University e-mentoring Project

30 high achieving Year 8 students paired up with undergraduate mentors from University of Greenwich to take their place in the CREST (Centre for Renewable Energy and Sustainable Technologies) project.  The initiative is run by the British Science Association.

 

Having already met the mentors at The Fun Maths Road Show hosted by Robert Napier in January.  The students went on to two more visits to the University of Greenwich at Medway.

The students took part in Stem subject tasters including forensic science and paramedic medicine. They also had a rare opportunity to make glow sticks in a lab.
