The Robert Napier School

Fairtrade Day at RNS

Students from the Phoenix School joined us this term to learn about Fairtrade.

The primary pupils played a game to learn about unfair trade in Beliefs and Ethics. Students excitedly worked in their groups but over time they realised that things weren’t going the way they had planned -  this helped them to reflect on why fairness and justice is important.

Next they went to see Fairtrade products and make Banana Muffins, which they were able to take home.

Finally, students used the ICT facilities to learn about QR codes and they created their very  own! We were all very impressed with student’s motivation to learn and how they listened to instructions so well.
