In the first week of January, students across year 12 and 13 underwent a considerable amount of mock exams, in preparation for upcoming summer examinations.

Regular mock exams are held at Robert Napier to give students the experience needed to achieve, as well as helping them address gaps in their knowledge.

A Year 13 student told the News Team: “It helps me understand what I’m strong and weak at. It also helps me understand where I should focus my revision.”

But the preparation starts as soon as students arrive in the sixth form. This prep gives students confidence and practice, with the ultimate goal being top A-Level results.

A student in Year 12 said: “I think it helps me understand what to expect in the future; when I’m in year 13, and what I can do at this point in time to further my knowledge or my technique.”
